How to Set Up IPTV on Android

Copy and paste makes this the quickest setup we offer.

  1. Open the Google Play store and search for the IPTV player app we recommend.
  2. Tap Install.
  3. Open the app and choose to add a login or playlist.
  4. Long-press our WhatsApp message to copy the details, then paste them into the app.
  5. Start watching. Rotate the phone for full screen.

Cast to Your TV

Many player apps show a Cast button. Tap it to send the picture to a Chromecast or a TV with Google TV built in. Your phone becomes the remote.

For nightly viewing on the big screen, installing the app on the TV device itself is smoother. Our Android TV guide shows you how.

Settings That Keep Playback Smooth

Android is great at saving battery, sometimes too great. These settings stop it from interrupting your stream:

  • Turn off battery optimization for the player app (Settings > Apps > the app > Battery > Unrestricted), so Android does not pause it.
  • Turn off Data Saver when you watch on Wi-Fi.
  • Lower the stream quality in the app when using mobile data. HD uses roughly 2 to 3 GB an hour.

Fixing Common Android Problems

Playback stops when the screen turns off

Disable battery optimization for the app, as shown above.

The app will not install

Check your storage and that your Android version is supported. Tell us your model and we will suggest an alternative if needed.
