A MAG box is built for one job, and it does it well. Instead of installing an app, MAG box IPTV setup works through a portal: we register your box’s MAC address, you type in one web address, and live TV appears.
MAG boxes, made by Infomir, are simple, reliable and popular with people who want a remote that does nothing but TV.
Registration happens on our side, so the first step is a quick message.
Current models like the MAG 524, 540 and 544 handle HD and 4K well and run a modern version of the portal. Older boxes such as the MAG 250, 254 and 256 still work for HD, though they can be slower to load the guide.
Any MAG box with a working network connection can use a portal. If yours is very old and struggles, it may be time for a newer model or a Formuler box.
MAG boxes are designed for a cable connection. Most have an ethernet port on the back, and Wi-Fi on many models needs an extra adapter. Plug the box straight into your router or use a powerline adapter to bring the network to your TV room.
The MAC address has not been registered or was typed differently. Send us the sticker photo again and we will check.
Check the network cable and that the portal address has no extra spaces. Restart the box and the router.
Set your time zone under Settings > System settings > Time settings, then restart.
