Watching IPTV on PC is a great fit for home offices, dorm rooms and anyone who keeps the news on while they work. A desktop player app runs on any Windows 10 or 11 laptop or desktop, in a window or full screen.
With an HDMI cable, your PC can also feed a TV, which turns an old laptop into a capable living room box.
About ten minutes, including the download.
Plug an HDMI cable from your laptop into the TV, then press Windows + P and choose Duplicate or Second screen only. Sound usually switches to the TV automatically. If it does not, click the speaker icon on the taskbar and pick the TV.
Most choppy video on a PC comes down to power settings or the network:
Turn on hardware acceleration in the app, update your graphics drivers through Windows Update, and plug the laptop into power.
Make sure you downloaded from the link we sent. Then choose More info > Run anyway in the SmartScreen prompt.
Click the speaker icon on the taskbar and choose the TV as the output device.
